Voici les détails de la soirée.
Cette année encore le restaurant Guilo Guilo organise un événement à l'occasion de la fête de la musique (le 21 juin 2012).
En ce jour "unique", Guilo Guilo se transformera en "sushi bar" et proposera au prix unique de 5euro, toutes les boissons et des assiettes d'assortiment de sushis! Vous pouvez même profiter des Nigiri de "Ootoro" (thon le plus gras) au prix exceptionnel de 10euro!
Nous profitons de cette soirée pour supporter les activités de l'organisme "Hope and Love" qui proposera leur cocktail original en soutien des désastres causés par le Tsunami catastrophe 2011 au Japon.
Sur le plan musical, vous serez tout autant gâtés avec la participation, pour la deuxième année consécutive, du DJ Kimura KO et notre invité spécial Towa TEI, venu directement du Japon pour cet événement! La soirée sera aussi animée par l'équipe Guilo Guilo!!
Le service se faisant au bar, tout le monde, petits et grands, est convié à cette fabuleuse soirée!
La soirée débutera à 19:00 jusqu'à l'aube; nous vous attendons à toute heure!

Présentation de l'invité spécial: le DJ Towa TEI
Dong-Hwa Jung(鄭東和), alias Towa Tei (テイトウワ Tei Tōwa, 7 septembre 1964 -) est un disc jockey japonais, de parents coréens. Il se fit remarquer pour la première fois, pour son travail de production, sur l'album des Jungle Brothers - Done by the Forces of Nature (1989).
1990,... alors membre du trio de New Yorkais Deee-Lite, il fut projeté sur le devant de la scène grâce à un titre de renommée internationale Groove Is In the Heart. 2 albums après (World Clique (1990) et Infinity Within (1992)), Towa Tei quitta le groupe pour se concentrer sur sa carrière solo. Son premier LP Future Listening, un assemblage de sonorités bossa nova, jazz et dance, paraît en 1995. Sur son 2e album Sound Museum, paru en 1998, on peut noter une collaboration avec Kylie Minogue pour le titre GBI (Initiales de German Bold Italic, type de police de caractère)(titre classé 20e et 63e dans les charts japonais et anglais, la voix de Bebel Gilberto fut également partie de cet album. En 1999, l'album Last Century Modern fut publié.
En 2005, Towa Tei sorti un nouvel album Flash et un nouveau single avec la collaboration de Kylie Minogue Sometime Samurai, 6e dans les charts japonais.

In 2010 Ko Kimura celebrated 25 years of Djing. He taught himself how to scratch and mix 2 records in his teens and was one of first DJs in Japan to spin House music. Ko’s dj style is in line with the flow of the night and making sure the crowd has a good time. Accompanying his precise dj skills and experiences, Ko always selects the most cutting-edge sound from the diverse and ever-changing global dance scene making him one of the most favorite and sought after djs in Japan.
Ko is a favorite DJ of top djs in the world such as long time friend Satoshi Tomiie, Dubfire, Carl Cox to name a few. Almost every time John Digweed plays in Japan, Ko Kimura plays alongside him. Ko was the 1st Japanese DJs to compile and mix Bedrock compilation series released in Japan by Pioneer LDC in 2001. Digweed also featured Ko on his renowned radio show “Transitions” several times over the year
Ko has played in many of the clubs all over Japan throughout his career but one of the most memorable nights was his residency “KOOL” @ YELLOW where he played every month for 12 years up until 2008. After which, he launched his new resident nights, “REC●” at AIR in Tokyo, TROOP CAFE in Kobe, SOUND SCAPE in Nagano, NUDE SUPPER CLUB in Takamatsu and MAGO in Nagoya. There are countless numbers of djs, promoters, club managers and magazine editors in the industry who are heavily influenced from Ko Kimura’s amazing long sets.
Internationally Ko has played all over the world. In Asian cities such as Taipei, Hong Kong, Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta, Macau, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Beijing, Shanghai, and Seoul. Ko has also played in Guam, Honolulu, Houston, Miami, Sydney, Melbourne, Hannover, Amsterdam, Bogota, and cities in Belarus and the Ukraine. One of the highlights of his overseas gigs was playing at the Ministry of Sound in London.
In 1997 Ko launched his label FUTIC RECORDINGS TOKYO. After 12 releases in vinyl, the label now digitally releases tracks by talented Japanese producers via Beatport. He also formed the production unit MODEWARP with studio partner KAZUAKI NOGUCHI. Their anticipated debut album ‘SOUND CHAMBER’ is finally out in Feb 2011.
Since the early 80’s, Ko has had a connection to the fashion industry leading to the support of brands such as Swatch, Calvin Klein and NIKE. He has been endorsed by Stussy for over 20 years as well other charismatic Tokyo street brands such as Neighborhood, Wtaps, realmadHectic, Supreme and Ptolemy just to name a few. He also advises many manufacturers such as VESTAX, PIONEER, ROLAND, AKAI, KORG, TECHNICS, ALLEN & HEATH, PIONEER and DENON on their DJ equipment.
